We couldn’t recommend Sonya enough. From the beginning of the process, through to the very end, she was kind, professional, funny, friendly, and so much more.
From the moment we initiated contact with Sonya we knew we were in safe hands. Organising a wedding requires a lot of work, and Sonya always made us feel like the the ceremony was totally under control and was being designed in accordance with our wishes.
She took the time to get to know us as people and as a couple and that was truly reflected in the ceremony. We even went out for delicious Korean BBQ a few months before the ceremony so we could all meet informally and get to know each other.
On the day of the ceremony, Sonya injected warmth and kindness into our ceremony while still ensuring the ceremony was very much focused on the bride and groom, it was extremely well received by family and friends alike.
Sonya made this day so special, she translated everything in both English and Korean, even our personal vows, and she did so perfectly. She was truly amazing and so sweet. During the reception family and friends said she was the best celebrant they had seen, so many positive comments, I was so pleased 🙂 5 stars!!

We couldn’t imagine any other than Sonya as our marriage celebrant. Since my family doesn’t speak or understand English, finding a celebrant proficient in both English and Korean was crucial, and she fit the bill perfectly. Sonya diligently handled all the processes before the wedding ceremony like NOIM and wedding vows, ensuring a smooth experience. She even shared a lovely lunch with us before the wedding, which was a thoughtful touch. During our conversation, we got to know each other well. Planning a small family wedding in a park left us uncertain about the details, but Sonya made everything seamless. Even after the ceremony, she followed up if we got the marriage certificate timely. Having Sonya as our marriage celebrant was truly a joy, and we’re grateful for her involvement in making our day special.

We were very lucky to have Sonya as our marriage celebrant for our wedding two weeks ago. We have to say that Sonya is the best marriage celebrant out there. Everything is just perfect with her. Sonya has a warm and loving personality which put us at ease from the beginning. She helped us in any way she could without any fuss. She is an excellent communicator and extremely professional and efficient. We received our official marriage certificate within 2 weeks. Sonya crafted a beautiful and personalised ceremony that perfectly reflected our love story and values in a combination of English and Korean so both our families and friends could understand. She printed and presented both our vows beautifully on a card for us to read. She also wrote a personalised card for us on our wedding day. We would give her 100 or more stars if it’s possible.

Sonya is an absolute dream celebrant! We hired her for our Korean/Polish wedding as we had family coming from Korea and it was their first time is Australia so there was a bit of a language barrier. Sonya was amazing as our celebrant and MC during our reception, we can’t express how grateful we are that she was able to bridge the language barrier between our two families. We received a lot of praise about Sonya afterwards, everyone thought she was terrific throughout the reception! I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! If you need a celebrant and/or MC to interpret between English and Korean then definitely choose Sonya. She’s the best!

Sonya was amazing from the moment we contacted her to even after the wedding. We went with her top tier package complete with couples exercises, meditations, and a couples yoga session! She even has a post-wedding catch up, which I think is such a lovely way to keep in touch, and also reflect on how you’ve fulfilled your vows to each other thus far. We also got amazing feedback from family and friends about Sonya’s lighthearted yet professional delivery of our ceremony.
Words cannot describe how AMAZING Sonya was as our celebrant. Not only did Sonya prepare an incredible ceremony for us full of beautiful words in English and Korean, she also assisted with translation at our reception. Sonya ensured the ceremony and reception went perfectly and it honestly felt like Sonya was a close friend who we have known for years. We had plenty of contact beforehand to fill in documents, plenty of communication in the lead-up to our wedding to ensure everything was aligned and lastly, incredible communication and warmth on our special day. My partner and I cannot recommend Sonya as a celebrant enough!

Sonya was amazing! We were looking for a celebrant who was able to offer parts of the ceremony on Korean, as we had family members who didn’t speak English and we wanted them involved. Sonya from day 1 understood what we were after and worked with us to translate key parts of the ceremony for those foreign guests. Sonya was always contactable and always happy to work with us to achieve the ceremony we wanted. We were really happy with Sonya and her work and highly recommend her services both in English and in Korean.

Sonya has been exceptional, before, during and after the wedding. It’s always a pleasure to receive a text, email, or to see her friendly smile. As a celebrant, she was exactly what we wanted – articulate, yet casual and friendly. She easily matched the atmosphere and tone we were looking for. She manages to combine the professionalism and wit of her experience as a lawyer, with the calmness and charisma of her experience as a yoga instructor.
